Thursday Night Shoot With the Frederique Constant Slimline Classics

Frederique Constant Slimline Classics Automatic

It’s Thursday night and I’m wrapping up my review, photoshoot, and video shoot (lol) for the Frederique Constant Slimline review that went live on WYCA on the 7th. I’ll be shipping the Slimline back to Certified Watch Store early next week- on to a new home soon, no doubt.

Back in 2013, Justin from Gem by Carati loaned me a Tissot Le Locle to review. It was one of the first Swiss automatics I had ever worn, and I really liked it. I thought it was discreet and classy.

Like the Le Locle, the Slimline Classics automatic (always, always automatic) scratches that dress watch itch. I wish I could keep it but – alas – it’s just not meant to be.

I’ve also been shooting a few other watches over the past couple of weeks, with reviews on WYCA due to publish shortly. CWT sent me over a few Swiss automatics and a popular Japanese quartz. More to come- soon!

Saying Goodbye to my Trusty Nikon D3200!

In other news….

Over the past few years I’ve snapped just over 11,064 photos with my Nikon D3200. The D3200 was my second DSLR (in 2007 I bought a Pentax DSLR but never learned how to use it), and it was a fantastic tool that empowered me to learn and explore photography.

It taught me that I loved macro photography.

I’m passing it on to a friend, and am soon replacing it with another Niklon. I also picked up a couple of new lenses and lighting gear. Time to see what else I can learn to create.

To the next 11,064 frames!
